Hello School Nurses!
Welcome back to the always busy time of the start of a new school year! I know you are all extremely busy, but I wanted to express my gratitude and assure you that I am here to work diligently to fulfill the role of President of CASN this year.
I want you to all know that each of you plays such an important role in promoting, maintaining and advocating for the health and wellbeing of students in our schools. You ALL have a unique blend of healthcare expertise and compassion that is vital to ensuring the success and welfare of every student in Colorado schools.
In my role as President, I want to create a collaborative and supportive environment where we can all share our knowledge, experiences, and best practices. Every member of this organization brings a wealth of wisdom and expertise, and I am committed to creating opportunities for us to learn from one another and grow together.
One way we can all participate this year is by attending the upcoming CASN conference on November 3-5 in Loveland, Colorado. I hope you will save the date as this will be a great time to collaborate, expand our knowledge and network to elevate school nursing and be able to walk away ready to further demonstrate our value as important members of the educational setting.
I thank you all for the hard work you will undertake this year, your dedication and your passion! I am honored and excited to stand alongside each of you to make a difference in student’s lives this year. I look forward to collaborating with and getting to know as many of you as I can!
