How do you all handle medication delegation for summer school. We have ESY (extended school year) and summer school at various locations with various staff. During summer school, we have multiple nurses rotate to fill all the days of coverage. The issue of delegation has caused lots of issues in the past. If the same staff who are delegated meds during the school year work summer school for the same kids, can they continue their delegation under that school's nurse? or should they be re-delegated to the nurse covering summer school? And what about when we have multiple nurses covering summer school? We have 7 nurses in our district. Thanks for your help!
