Hey all,
I am a new district nurse and am curious how you all are doing your med delegation when it comes to field trips. Are you just doing one-on-one type trainings for these staff members? What about for bus trips in between schools, where there is a fully delegated health assistance on each side of the trip?
Also, I have a couple career observations coming up where one high school student will go with one staff member to visit a career site. Do you require that staff member to be CPR certified and med delegated? What if the student is a self-carry inhaler, do you still require that staff member to be delegated?
