    Hello, 

    All of our health clerks in the schools currently do several other jobs, I am trying to get a health clerk at one of the schools to be "only the health clerk". My superintendent has asked me to get a salary and a job description put together for this position. I wanted to pick your brains and see if any of you had thoughts on this. I am in Colorado for salary ideas.

    Hello Cheyene, 

    In addition to looking at samples from different districts, you may also want to look at NASN's recommended qualifications for the unlicensed assistive personnel (UAP). This could even serve as a tool for building a job description.

    We use Medicaid funds for our UAPs. It is in our LSP.
