I'm so excited to announce that the National Environmental Education Foundation and Hip Hop Public Health have co-created new asthma education resources featuring the EMPOWER acronym of the key components critical to living with and managing asthma, Environment, Medication, Plan, Open Communication, Well-being, Extinguish, Resilience. These resources, a downloadable poster (also attached), original music track and animated video, are designed to help school nurses and other providers offer asthma education that feels relevant for young people.
