Colorado school nurses reconnecting for student health

CASN Fall Conference Nov.4-6, 2022

 The Colorado Association of School Nurses (CASN) will have an in-person conference this year at the Embassy Suites in Loveland Nov.4-6, 2022.


Our themeColorado School Nurses Reconnecting for Student Health” brings school nurses together to address current issues including chronic health management, mental health for students and nurses, advocacy and equity to name a few.


Our Keynote Speaker: Robin Cogan has an extensive history in school nursing  and writes a popular blog called The Relentless School Nurse. She supports the school nurse’s role as the chief wellness officer. And she believes that “being relentless is what it takes to be a change agent in nursing”.  Website:


Biography for our Keynote Speaker Robin Cogan, MEd, RN, NCSN, FNASN, FAAN, is a Nationally Certified School Nurse (NCSN), currently in her 22nd year as a New Jersey school nurse in the Camden City School District. Robin is the New Jersey State School Nurses Association Director to the National Association of School Nurses. She is proud to be a Johnson & Johnson School Health Leadership Fellow and past program mentor. Robin is the honored recipient of multiple awards for her work in school nursing and population health. She serves as faculty in the School Nurse Certificate Program at Rutgers University-Camden School of Nursing. Robin writes a popular blog called The Relentless School Nurse. Her extensive work in school nursing was included as a case study in the National Academies of Medicine  Future of Nursing 2030 report. Robin also writes a monthly column in My American Nurse, the official journal of the American Nurses Association. Email:
